To the families and the friends that have suffered losses or have been affected by today's events.

I am writing this because I am a human being, and I have feelings.  Today an extremely tragic event took place, a terrorist attack.  The Fall of The Twin Towers and The End of True Security in America.  While I will say I am distraught about the events that have taken place, I also condemn any forms of violence.  We do not need anymore bloodshed.  This is being made out to be us vs. them but in actuality this is human vs. human.  The problems we face as humans is ignorance to one an other and ignorance for not trying to stop ignoring each other.  We are all entitled to opinions and thank God that we are, but we are also supposed to listen to each other and respect one another.  What happened today was not only a crime against the US it is a crime against humanity.  What kind of a world do we live in that we have to take innocent lives to get our point across.  This happens all over the world not only here at "home".  Beirut, Northern Ireland, The Gaza Strip are all victims of selfish people with too many weapons and too much power.  Maybe it took something like this to happen on American soil for us to open our eyes to the tragedies that humans face daily in the world.  And what do we plan to do about it?  We may go to war and kill more innocent people.  Believe it or not just because they are foreign does not make them the enemy.  We all bleed the same we all suffer the same and we all die the very same way.  We should not destroy this world no matter how fucked up it is on the basis of revenge or retaliation or the fault of the ignorance of a few.  I don't know about you dear reader but I have plans for my life and I don't want that cut short because of idiots with too much money and hatred in their hearts.  I am writing this to express my sorrow for the victims all over the world that face these injustices everyday.  Whether it be the thousands of people lost at the World Trade Center or the 13 year old boy who lost his life last week due to a missile that was aimed at an empty building that belonged to Palestinians.  Does his life mean any less than one American life?  I don't think so.  Think about this.  Your child or younger sibling is playing or walking and suddenly something explodes and he dies for something he has nothing to do with.  How would you react?  I mean he is someone close to you so you are angry and sad at the same time.  So imagine how his family feels?  Kinda puts it in perspective doesn't it?  This is what I am saying.  We should try to resolve this as soon as possible with as little violence as possible.  The people responsible for this are ignorant, do you think we should stoop to that level?  Do you think killing THEIR kind will make you feel better?  It won't.  We still have to grieve for the lost ones and try to rebuild our lives no matter what.  Don't you want the chance to grieve and rebuild?  I do.  So why go all out and risk destroying the world and destroying humanity for ignorance?  It doesn't make sense to me.  Again to the victims' families my deepest condolences I grieve with you.  Not because I have to but because I know what it is like to lose a loved one unexpectedly.

My Condolences,

HERE for some thoughts by Sweets.

Ordinarily I would not put a picture like this on my site because it looks like a very Pro American Stance but you know what it embodies the nature of how people feel.  Thank You to Christy for this picture.  Click HERE to see it.
